 Screening and Training
Choosing someone to care for your children is never easy. We're parents, too, and select only those experienced, fun, flexible and responsible caregivers who we would be happy to use ourselves.
Our screening process is extensive. All candidates complete an extensive application, their childcare-related references are thoroughly checked and they complete our own award-winning health and safety program. We verify social security numbers and conduct a criminal background check, as well. Only those caregivers who successfully complete this process and we know will adhere to the very best practices in the childcare industry become Parents in a Pinch childcare caregivers.
What are the qualifications?
All of our caregivers share these common traits:
- They have passed our extensive screening process.
- They are at least 18 years old, although the average age is mid to late 20's.
- They have significant childcare experience.
- They demonstrate warmth, integrity and reliability.
- They love and understand children.
- They are fun and flexible.
